ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan women's soccer head coach Greg Ryan announced on Tuesday (Feb. 11) the team's nine-member recruiting class for 2014. The newest batch of Wolverines include defender Alyssa Dillon (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth), goalkeeper Megan Hinz (Eldersburg, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel), forward Danielle Hogarth (Jarrettsville, Md./The Bryn Mawr School), goalkeeper Sarah Jackson (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin Regional), midfielder Kendall Kramer (Novi, Mich./Novi), midfielder Courtney Parr (Rockville, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel), forward Taylor Timko (Rochester, Mich./Pontiac Notre Dame Prep), midfielder Rubina Veerakone (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia) and midfielder Nicole Wilkinson (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif./Palos Verdes).

Several groups of club teammates are among the players in this class, including Hinz, Hogarth and Parr of Maryland United FC (formerly Freestate SC); Kramer and Timko of Vardar; and Dillon and Veerakone of the Michigan Hawks.

"This class has a little bit of everything," Ryan said. "We're adding depth at every position on the field, but the best part about this class is that every player is athletic and skillful. We're graduating one of the most successful senior classes in our program's history and while that entire group is irreplaceable, there's going to be a fierce competition to fill the spots that they held. We expect several of these players to make an immediate impact and add to the culture that we've built here at Michigan."
