Wolverines to Open 2013 Season With Pair of Home Exhibitions

Aug. 12, 2013

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Fresh off its best season in a decade, the University of Michigan women's soccer team will open the 2013-14 athletic year with a pair of exhibition matches this week at the U-M Soccer Complex, facing Western Michigan on Tuesday (Aug. 13) and Dayton on Friday (Aug. 16). Both matches will begin at 3 p.m. and admission is free.

Due to field conditions, both matches could be moved to the men's practice field on the far west side of the complex. The final decision as to where the match will be played will be made by 11 a.m. on the day of the match. Should one or both of the matches be played on the practice field, fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs and sit on the west side of the field. For updates, follow @umichwsoccer on Twitter.
