For Michigan seniors Amanda Bowery (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester), Jackie Carron (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester) and Sarah Stanczyk (Grosse Pointe, Mich./Grosse Pointe South), the 2010 Michigan women's soccer season marks the latest chapter in a long running friendship.
Bowery and Carron have been playing side-by-side for 15 years, beginning with the Rochester Lightning in 1995. Stanczyk joined her current teammates four years later and, save for a brief separation for the first two years of college, the trio has been together ever since. They have played for three different teams, won a trio of national championships and are each the oldest of three siblings. It is no wonder a woman at Denny's once asked if they were triplets.
Despite all the time together, differences do exist. MGoBlue asked each of the trio to give some unique insight into their longtime teammates and friends.
