• Michigan is now 6-0 all-time against both Kent State and Pittsburgh.

• The shutout win over Pittsburgh was Michigan's third of the season. Megan Betsa has two of the shutouts (Central Arkansas on Feb. 15 and Pittsburgh on Feb. 21) and Haylie Wagner has one (Memphis, Feb. 14)

• U-M collected 11 hits against Kent State and 14 against Pittsburgh. The Maize and Blue is now 5-1 when recording 10-plus hits.

Sierra Lawrence tied a career high with three hits against Kent State. She has accomplished this twice before, with the last time coming at Indiana (April 16, 2013).

Lyndsay Doyle's career-best nine-game hitting streak came to an end against Kent State. She did reach base on an error, bringing her reached-base streak to 10 games.

Taylor Hasselbach picked up a hit against Pittsburgh and has now hit safely in five straight games, extending her career-best streak.

Katie Luetkens had her first at-bat of the season against Pittsburgh. She lined out to third.

Sierra Romero collected a pair of multi-hit games today, bringing her season total to seven, which leads the Wolverines. Abby Ramirez and Caitlin Blanchard also had two multi-hit games today; each has five on the year.

Haylie Wagner has yielded just three earned runs in her last five appearances (27.0 innings pitched).
