• Michigan is now 5-2 all-time against Kentucky and 7-0 against Kent State.

• U-M now has a 3-2 record against ranked teams in 2014, and is 1-1 against top-10 opponents (9-4 loss in eight innings to then-No. 4 Florida on Feb. 8).

• The Wolverines are now 1-1 in extra innings

• The Maize and Blue have shut out its opponents in five of its wins: 5-0 vs. Memphis, Feb. 14; 7-0 vs. Central Arkansas , Feb. 15; 9-0 vs. Pittsburgh, Feb. 21; 3-0 vs. Kentucky, Feb. 22; 1-0 vs. Kent State, Feb. 22.

• With two hits against Kentucky, Sierra Romero collected her eighth multi-hit game of the season and third in a row.

Abby Ramirez collected two hits against Kent State, giving her six multi-hit games on the season, two behind Sierra Romero's team high of eight.

Taylor Hasselbach pinch hit against Kent State and struck out swinging, ending her career high five game hit streak.

Kelly Christner made her first career start in right field against Kent State. She has now started in left, right and at first base, with 10 starts in U-M's first 13 games.

Haylie Wagner has yielded just three earned runs in her last seven appearances (36 innings pitched).

• Wagner set a new team high when she was hit by two pitches against Kentucky. She has now been hit 10 times in her career.
