• U-M moves to 3-2 all-time against Illinois State and 8-5 versus Massachusetts.

• Amanda Chidester's home run against Illinois State was the 32nd of her career. She currently sits in fifth place on Michigan's all-time list.

• With an Illinois State run in the first inning, U-M had its streak of 28.0 scoreless innings snapped.

• Michigan moves to 3-1 in one-run games this season.

• U-M's 1-0 loss to UMass was the first shutout loss for the Wolverines since falling to Tennessee, 5-0, during the NCAA Super Regional on May 27, 2010.

• LHP Haylie Wagner improved to 5-0 on the season with the win over Illinois State.

• Bree Evans and Lyndsay Doyle are the only Wolverines to have started all 11 contests.
