The Maize and Blue conclude the Judi Garman Classic with a record of 2-3. U-M has made nine consecutive trips to the Classic, compiling a 29-14 record.
The Wolverines improved their record to 12-1 when not committing an error.
Lyndsay Doyle collected her fifth double of the season, a new season high (four in 2011). Doyle also had a single, giving her seven multi-hit games on the season, tied for second most on the team (Blanchard, Sappingfield).
Doyle tallied her first multi-RBI game of the season. The senior now has five in her career (three in 2013, one in 2011).
Haylie Wagner recorded her third game with eight or more strikeouts (10 vs. Illinois State, Feb. 9; 9 vs. Memphis, Feb. 14).
Wagner lowered her WHIP to 0.95.
Lauren Sweet walked twice, a new season high.
Caitlin Blanchard extended her team-best reached-base streak to 19 games.
