Amy Knapp, batting sixth for the second time this year, finished the day 4-for-6 with four runs batted in. She now leads the Wolverines with nine multiple-hit games.

Sara Driesenga did not allow an earned run in 8.1 innings pitched.

Jaclyn Crummey went 2-for-6 on the day and scored three runs.

Nicole Sappingfield extended her hit streak to 12 games with a knock in each contest. She now has the longest U-M streak this season (career best is 20 games).

• U-M has beaten Arizona five times in a row.

• Michigan turned two double plays for the second time this season (last: vs. Florida Atlantic on Feb. 17).

• U-M is now 5-4 against ranked teams in 2013.

• The Wolverines are now 10-9 all-time against Arizona State (last: 1-0 ASU win on March 16, 2012).

• The Maize & Blue is now 9-7 all-time against Arizona (last: 8-0 U-M win on March 18, 2011).
