ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Despite the best efforts of U-M's grounds crew, the No. 6-ranked University of Michigan softball team's home opener scheduled for today (Tuesday, March 18) against Bowling Green has been postponed due to field conditions.
Head coach Carol Hutchins and Bowling Green head coach Shannon Salsburg decided to postpone the game and reschedule for Tuesday (March 25) at 4 p.m. Tickets and seat locations will be honored for the makeup date. For further questions, please check the softball inclement weather policy.

The Maize and Blue is scheduled to open at home on Friday (March 21) against Indiana at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on MGoBlue.com and the Big Ten Digital Network.
