Nicole Sappingfield stole a base in first and fourth innings (5), tying a career high with two steals in one game (last: at Northwestern March 27, 2011).

Sara Driesenga's second-inning home run is her first since Feb. 17 at FAU.

Ashley Lane and Driesenga hit home runs in the same inning for the second time this season. The pair went back-to-back on Feb. 16 vs. Maryland.

Caitlin Blanchard extended her current hit streak to five games, her second streak of five games this season. Her career high is nine straight games.

Lyndsay Doyle hit her second double of the season in the fourth inning. She also picked up her ninth run batted in, tying a career high she set in 2011.

Haylie Wagner made her third relief appearance of the season.

Sierra Romero extended her hit streak to seven games with her single in the sixth inning.

Sierra Lawrence collected two doubles, hitting one into each gap. It was the first time in her career she hit two doubles in one game, and it marked her ninth multi-hit game of the season.

• The Wolverines are now 51-7 all-time against Penn State (last: 6-0 win on March 25, 2012).
