ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 14 University of Michigan softball team announced today (Tuesday, April 2) that its afternoon game against Western Michigan will be postponed due to cold weather conditions. The game is scheduled to be made up on Tuesday (April 9) at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field, at 4 p.m.
The two teams decided to move the game to next week as weather conditions are projected to be warmer.
Tickets for the Western Michigan game will be honored on the makeup date. Individual tickets may be returned to the ticket office for a refund. Season tickets may not be returned.
The Wolverines host Ohio State at the Wilpon Complex for three games this weekend (April 5-7). Friday's game is a Maize Star Event and will begin at 6 p.m.
