With a double in the third inning, Ashley Lane has reached base safely in 16 consecutive games and extended her hitting streak to eight games. The eight-game streak marks the longest of her career.
With her home run in the fourth inning, Ashley Lane moved into a tie with Melissa Gentile (1997-2000) for seventh all-time at Michigan with 28 longballs in a career.
Lauren Sweet hit her fourth home run of the season, a three-run shot in the third inning.
Sara Driesenga hit two home runs in the contest, her first game with multiple home runs. Both of her home runs were leadoff home runs, coming in the second and seventh innings.
Haylie Wagner recorded at least 10 strikeouts for the second time this season. Her season-high total was 11 against Penn State on Feb. 12.
The Wolverines are 6-0 when scoring at least 10 runs.
Michigan improved to 22-0 when leading after the fourth inning.
U-M is now 11-3 when playing error free.
