Sierra Lawrence batted 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Her three hits tied a career best she set April 7 vs. Ohio State.

Lauren Sweet batted 2-for-4 with three RBI. Sweet now has five multi-RBI games this season.

Ashley Lane hit her 11th home run of the season in game one. She now has 40 career home runs, tying former U-M player Amanda Chidester for fifth place on U-M's all-time list.

• Lane collected six assists, tying her own team best for the season set against Maryland on Feb. 16.

Caitlin Blanchard extended her career-best hit streak to 15 games with a single in the ninth inning.

Sierra Romero went 2-for-5 with one RBI, collecting her 14th multi-hit game of the season.

• Romero has now hit safely in all 13 of U-M's Big Ten games.

• Romero has recorded one hit in 37 of U-M's 45 games.

Nicole Sappingfield scored one run, giving her 49 on the season, a team best.

Amy Knapp batted 1-for-4 with one run scored.

Haylie Wagner pitched 5.2 innings, giving up four runs on nine hits. She struck out two and walked one.

• The Wolverines collected 11 hits in the first game, the 11th time in 13 Big Ten games they have registered double-digit hits.

• U-M played back-to-back extra-innings games for the first time this season (eight inning win vs. Michigan State on April 14). The Maize and Blue is 4-0 in extra-inning games in 2013. The Wolverines last played consecutive extra-innings games on April 22 and 28, 2012.

• Michigan played its first games at the newly opened Andy Mohr Field.

• U-M and Indiana cancelled game two after two-and-a-half innings. The game is not an official game, and the statistics earned will not be counted.
