• The Maize and Blue is 49-30 all-time against Central Michigan.

• Michigan and Central Michigan have now met in 36 of U-M's 37 seasons of varsity softball. The two teams did not play in 1980.

• Michigan collected 10-plus hits for the 23rd time this season and is 20-3 when doing so.

Nicole Sappingfield tied a season best with three runs scored (four times previously; last at Michigan State on April 13).

Lyndsay Doyle extended her career-best hitting streak to 12 games.

Kelly Christner and Lindsay Montemarano each extended their career-best hitting streaks to five games.

Sierra Romero tallied their 15th multi-RBI game of the season, tied for most on the team. Her five RBI mark a season and career high she has achieved three times previously (last: at UCLA on March 5).

• Romero hit her first triple of the season and the third of her career.

• Romero now has 19 multi-hit games, most on the team.

• Romero has reached base in 22 consecutive games, a team high.

Sierra Lawrence collected her 15th multi-RBI game, tied with Romero for team lead.

• Lawrence has now reached base in 20 consecutive games.
