ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The ninth-ranked University of Michigan softball team postponed its game against Iowa today (April 19) due to inclement weather. The game was scheduled to begin at the Wilpon Complex at 6 p.m.
Rain and cold temperatures caused the postponement. Friday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday (April 21) beginning at noon. First pitch for game two is slated for 3 p.m., and that game will be televised live on the Big Ten Network.
Tickets for Friday's game will be honored for game one on Sunday. After the first game concludes, fans are welcome to stay for the the second game. However, if you are in a reserved seat location, you will be required to move to the outfield for the 3 p.m. game.
Individual tickets for Friday's game may be returned to the ticket office for a refund. Season tickets may not be returned.
Michigan is in the midst of an 18-game win streak, the longest active streak in the nation. U-M is currently undefeated in Big Ten Conference play at 13-0.
