Sierra Romero extended her team-best reached base streak to 32 games when she was hit by a pitch in the first inning.

• Romero stole her fifth base of the season.

• Romero reached base in 10 consecutive plate appearances during the series, scoring seven of those times.

• Romero set a new single season best for Big Ten players in conference play with 34 runs scored.

Ashley Lane hit her 15th home run of the season, putting her in a tie with Jessica Merchant (2004) for the fifth-most by a U-M player in a single season.

• Lane batted 3-for-10 in the series with five RBI.

• Lane equaled the fifth-best season for a Big Ten player in conference play with 28 runs batted in.

Caitlin Blanchard knocked in four runs for the second consecutive game. She now has 12 games with multiple-RBI, the second most on the team.

• Blanchard batted 5-for-8 in this series with a eight RBI.

Sierra Lawrence stole her eighth and ninth base of the season, the second time this season she has swiped two bags in one game (last: March 1 vs. Georgia Tech).

Amy Knapp collected two hits, her 13 multi-hit game of the season.

Jaclyn Crummey pinch ran in the fourth inning and stole her 11th base, tops on the team. Crummey is 11-for-12 on steal attempts.

• U-M tied a season best with four stolen bases (previous: March 8 vs. Miami (Ohio)).

• Assistant men's basketball coach Jeff Meyer threw out today's ceremonial first pitch in recognition of the team's national runner-up finish this season.

• U-M finishes regular season play at 44-9, 20-2 in the Big Ten.

• This is the first season since 1999 that U-M has won 20 games in conference play.

• Michigan finished the regular season with a perfect 16-0 record at Alumni Field.
