• U-M improves to 34-12 all-time at the Big Ten tournament.

• Michigan is now 7-5 in one-run games.

Haylie Wagner picked up her second save of the season and fourth of her career by retiring one batter in the seventh inning.

Caitlin Blanchard hit her 12th double of the season, extending her team-best mark.

• Blanchard went 2-for-4 and collected her 18th multi-hit game, the most on the team.

Ashley Lane hit her 16th home run of the season. She has hit home runs in back-to-back games three times in 2013.

• Lane went 2-for-3 and picked up her 16th multi-hit game of 2013, second most on the team. She also collected her 14 multi-RBI game, also second best on the squad.

• The Wolverines are 13-1 when Lane homers.

Brandi Virgil scored her 11th run of the season after she entered the game as a pinch runner in the bottom of the fifth.

Nicole Sappingfield tied a career high with her sixth stolen base of the season (previous 2011).

• Sappingfield led off for the 11th time this season. U-M is 10-1 when she bats leadoff.

Sierra Romero had her 32-game reached base streak snapped. It was the longest stretch by a Wolverine this season.

• Michigan will play Wisconsin for the first time this season. Wisconsin is one of three Big Ten teams U-M did not play in the regular season (Minnesota, Illinois).
