• Michigan improves to 37-2 all-time against Purdue with tonight's win.

• LHP Haylie Wagner picked up her 28th win of the season, tying her with Nikki Nemitz (2008) for eighth on the single-season list.

Sara Driesenga reached base for the 26th consecutive game with two singles in tonight's contest. Amanda Chidester had the same streak entering the game but could not reach base in tonight's game.

Nicole Sappingfield picked up her 13th multi-hit game of the season, tying her with Amanda Chidester for second on the team.

• Michigan is now 27-0 when leading after the fifth inning.

• With at least one win tomorrow, Michigan will clinch its fifth consecutive and 15th overall Big Ten title.

Caitlin Blanchard recorded her third RBI of the season and first since Feb. 26 with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Blanchard has been limited this season due to injury.

• With nine hits to Purdue's six, Michigan is now 31-1 when out-hitting its opponent.

Haylie Wagner was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, marking the second time this season Michigan has scored on a bases-loaded HBP. Lauren Sweet was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded against Temple on March 4, accounting for Michigan's winning run.

• U-M is now 10-3 in home games this season.

• Michigan wore its pink jerseys to raise breast cancer awareness after hosting the third annual Michigan Softball Academy yesterday (Thursday, May 10). The Wolverines raised more than $37,000 with the fundraiser.
