Sara Driesenga pitched seven innings and yielded five hits and one run. She struck out five and walked one.

• Driesenga won her 29th game of the season, the sixth most victories for a U-M pitcher in a single season.

• For the tournament Driesenga went 3-0 and allowed one run in 21 innings for a 0.33 earned run average. She struck out 19 hitters and walked four. Opponents batted .158.

Sierra Romero drove in her 67th and 68th runs in the game.

• Romero hit her 10th double of the season, second most on the team.

• Romero batted .429 (3-for-7) with two doubles in the regional round.

Nicole Sappingfield recorded her third outfield assist of the season. She leads the team in that category.

Caitlin Blanchard hit her fourth home run of the season, all of which have come at Alumni Field.

Jaclyn Crummey pinch hit in the seventh inning and lined out to third.

Lyndsay Doyle collected three hits, tying a season/career best (six times previously).

• Doyle led the team with a .667 (6-for-9) batting average in the regional round.

Kelsey Susalla pinch hit in the seventh inning and lined out to the right fielder.

• Michigan has won three games in a row against Cal to bring the all-time record with the Golden Bears to 3-7.

• U-M has won 19 games in a row at Alumni Field and 23 in a row dating back to 2012.

• Michigan never trailed in the regional round.

• Michigan wins its 16th regional title in 21 NCAA appearances.

• The Wolverines will host a Super Regional for the fifth time.
