Faith Canfield (May 9)

Big Ten Player of the Week -- Sophomore second baseman Faith Canfield garnered the final Big Ten Player of the Week accolade of the 2017 season -- and her first -- after posting a stellar .714 batting average and 1.071 slugging percentage over the Wolverines' four games last week. She tallied at least one hit in each contest, including a career-best four hits in the series finale at Rutgers. She also posted three extra-base hits -- a three-run homer in the first inning against Western Michigan and two doubles in the Rutgers finale -- and seven total RBI. » Big Ten Release

Megan Betsa (May 9)

Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Senior RHP Megan Betsa netted her fourth Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor of the season after recording a 0.00 ERA over two appearances and 10 innings pitched last weekend at Rutgers. She struck out 12 and allowed just four hits in a complete-game win in the series opener and combined with junior RHP Tera Blanco for a no-hitter in the finale, striking out five through three innings. With the latter win, Betsa earned her 100th career victory. » Big Ten Release

Megan Betsa (April 3)

Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Senior RHP Megan Betsa netted her third straight -- and Michigan's fourth -- Big Ten Pitcher of the Week accolade after throwing three complete-game shutouts in games against Central Michigan and Northwestern last week. She boasted 28 strikeouts and allowed just six hits and four walks through 19 innings pitched. Betsa has boasted shutout wins in each of her last seven starts and hasn't allowed a run in 48 innings pitched. » Big Ten Release

Megan Betsa (March 27)

Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Senior RHP Megan Betsa threw 15 shutout innings en route to a pair of wins and a save for the Wolverines last week. She earned back-to-back complete-game shutouts against Penn State, extending her streak to four shutouts in her last four starts. Betsa ended the series with a five-inning, nine-strikeout no-hitter -- her second no-hitter in nine days. She boasted 29 strikeouts and allowed just three hits through 15 innings. » Big Ten Release

Megan Betsa (March 20)

Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Senior RHP Megan Betsa tossed a pair of complete-game shutouts over the Wolverines' home series against Kent State, including a 17-strikeout no-hitter in the series opener. It was her fourth career no-hitter and a career-best strikeout tally -- just two shy of the Michigan program single-game record. She followed it up with a 13-strikeout one-hitter in the series finale. » Big Ten Release

Tera Blanco (March 13)

Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Junior RHP Tera Blanco threw the best game of her collegiate career to date against Kent State last Sunday (March 12), striking out a career-high 13 while allowing one unearned run on just two hits and no walks. Blanco struck out the side in the first, third and seventh innings; she fanned five of the last six batters faced. Blanco also helped her cause with three RBI in the contest. » Big Ten Release

Kelly Christner (Feb. 20)

Big Ten Player of the Week -- Senior centerfielder Kelly Christner boasted a .667 average with a .765 on-base percentage and 1.417 slugging percentage over the Wolverines' four-game ACC/Big Ten Challenge weekend. She tied a Michigan school record with three homers, including her second career grand slam, and posted career bests with four runs and seven RBI, in the tournament opener against N.C. State. She also posted multiple hits in both slates against Notre Dame and recorded three steals and five walks on the weekend. » Big Ten Release

Megan Betsa (Feb. 13)

Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Senior RHP Megan Betsa posted a 0.41 ERA and struck out 27 through 17 innings pitched at the Wolverines' season-opening USF Wilson-Demarini Tournament. She threw a complete-game shutout in the opener against Delaware with 15 strikeouts -- just one shy of her single-game best -- before going the distance in a 10-inning marathon against No. 4 Florida, in which she threw 190 pitches, fanned 12 Gators and allowed just one earned run. » Big Ten Release
