Each week during the 2012 season, MGoBlue.com will ask each member of the University of Michigan softball team the same question as the "Question of the Week."
Week 4: In honor of playing at the Disney/ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex this weekend for the Citrus Classic, what is your favorite Disney movie?
Jaclyn Crummey -- This might be the most difficult question so far because I loved all the movies. My childhood lineup included "The Lion King," "Pocahontas," "The Little Mermaid," "Mulan" and "Aladdin." However, I'd have to say "Finding Nemo" has to take the cake on this one. Not to mention, I do great impressions -- ask Ashley Lane!
Becca Garfinkel -- My favorite Disney movie is "Pocahontas" because Pocahontas is easily the prettiest and bravest Disney princess. I also like the movie's message about nature.
Brandi Virgil -- My favorite Disney movie is "The Lion King." It is one of those movies I could watch over and over, even now, and it never gets old! It reminds me a lot of my family, and especially of my aunt who loved lions!
Bree Evans -- My favorite Disney movie is "101 Dalmatians." I always wanted a Dalmatian and when I finally got one I named her Pretty! She is still alive and very pretty.
Haylie Wagner -- I don't really have a favorite Disney movie. So I asked my mom what was a movie I watched all the time growing up, and she said "Freaky Friday" because it would be cool to switch bodies with my mom!
Ashley Lane -- My favorite Disney movie is "The Little Mermaid." I just always liked the love story between the two.
Mandy Gardner -- I could not just pick one Disney movie so I decided to choose two! It would have to be either "Tarzan" or "Mulan." I love "Tarzan" because of the caring nature Tarzan has for Jane. Also, I love how throughout the whole movie you get that heart-warming, captivating feeling! I love "Mulan" because I like the message it displays. Woman can do anything men can do! Also, I believe these two movies have the best songs to sing along to no matter what age you are!
Stephanie Kirkpatrick -- Embarrassing as it may seem I cannot think of a Disney movie that I do not like! I am 21 years old and I still find myself watching these animated classics over and over again. If I had to choose one, I would pick "Little Mermaid!" I just can't get enough. It is ironic since I am terrified of water, but the animated ocean seems great!
Amanda Chidester -- I love every Disney movie! But if I had to choose, I would say "Hercules" because it is my Mom's favorite Disney movie!
Hilary Payne -- My favorite Disney movie is "Beauty and the Beast." I loved Belle along with all the other characters and the songs throughout the movie. My parents took me to see Beauty and the Beast on ice and I even had the tea cup version of Chip.
Sara Driesenga -- Even though the witch always scared me, I loved watching "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" when I was younger. When my Mom would ask me what my name was, I would always yell out "Dopey!" "Remember the Titans" and "The Princess Diaries" are some of my favorites too!
Lyndsay Doyle -- My favorite Disney movie is "Finding Nemo" because I think Dory is hilarious, and I have been told that Dory's personality is similar to mine.
Taylor Hasselbach -- My favorite Disney movie is "The Lion King." When I was little I used to play all the time in my Lion King tent. To put it lightly, I was obsessed with that movie.
Amy Knapp -- My favorite Disney movie is "Dumbo" because I always wanted to join the clowns and learn to fly!
Caitlin Blanchard -- My favorite Disney movie is "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" because I'm a sucker for anything involving both computers and tennis shoes.
Lauren Sweet -- My favorite Disney movie has to be "Toy Story." I love all the characters and I grew up watching it all the time.
Stephanie Speierman -- My favorite Disney movie is "The Lion King." I love animals, so I think that drew me to the movie. I remember watching it with my little sisters all the time when we were younger and I still watch it today. I saw it in 3-D when it came out in theaters recently and Becca (Garfinkel) and I watched it twice this week because it was on TV!
Nicole Sappingfield -- My favorite Disney movie has always been "Beauty and the Beast" because it is about a young girl who doesn't follow the societal norms and embraces being different and smart. I also really love the music in the movie because it is really upbeat and cheerful.
Katie Luetkens -- My favorite Disney movie is "Cinderella." Growing up I loved the little mice that were such great friends and the pumpkin carriage that was magically changed by the Fairy Godmother. Also, I loved how it showed that if you keep working hard and follow your dreams one day everything will all work out.
