ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Big Ten Conference opening series between the No. 6-ranked University of Michigan softball team and Indiana University has been altered due to expected weather forecasts this weekend.
The two teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow (Friday, March 21) starting at 2:30 p.m. The second game will begin immediately following the completion of the first game. The third game of the series will be played on Saturday (March 22) starting at 2 p.m.
The first game of Friday's doubleheader and Saturday's game will be streamed on the Big Ten Digital Network and MGoBlue.com by Michigan's BTN.com Student U group.
Following is information on how the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office will be honoring tickets for this weekend's revised series:
Friday, 3/21, 2:30 p.m. (Game 1) - This game will honor the seat locations for those who purchased tickets for Sunday. At the conclusion of the game, those who had Sunday single-game infield tickets must relocate to the outfield bleachers if they wish to stay for the second game.
Friday, 3/21, 4 p.m. (Game 2) - This is the regularly scheduled Friday game. U-M will honor all Friday ticket locations at its start. If guests who purchased Friday single-game infield seats would like to come early and watch the 2 p.m. game, they will need to sit in the outfield bleachers until the start of the second game.
Saturday, 3/22, 2 p.m. (as scheduled) - This is the regularly scheduled Saturday game and all Saturday ticket locations will be honored. If a Sunday single-game ticket holder would like to come to this game, they may do so but we will not be able to honor any infield locations and they will need to sit in the outfield bleachers.
Please refer to the inclement weather policy for information on refunds and exchanges. Gates will open at 1:30 p.m. for the doubleheader on Friday.
