ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Head coach Carol Hutchins of the No. 5-ranked University of Michigan softball team announced Tuesday (April 1) that the team has added a contest with the University of Detroit for 6 p.m. Wednesday (April 2) at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field.
Fans can enjoy the clash between the Wolverines and the Titans for free, and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Following the Michigan-Detroit game, the Titans will square off with the Toledo Rockets at Alumni Field, and that game will also be free to attend.
Michigan will take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in a three-game Big Ten Conference series this weekend beginning on Friday (April 4) at the Wilpon Complex. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m., and tickets are still available at MGoBlue.com/tickets.
