ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan softball team and head coach Carol Hutchins announced Friday (April 25) that the team's matchup with Bowling Green, originally slated as postponed on March 25, has officially been cancelled.
Due to previous scheduling commitments and the academic schedule of each institution, a mutually agreeable makeup date could not be reached.
In accordance with the Michigan softball inclement weather policy, season ticket holders may exchange their Bowling Green tickets for general admission tickets to an upcoming regular-season game at the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office. Michigan has three regular-season home games remaining (May 2-4) against Wisconsin.
Individual game ticket holders may request a refund by returning the unused tickets to the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office. The tickets must be returned on or prior to May 9 (14 days from the announced cancellation).
For further questions, consult the inclement weather policy or contact the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office at 866-296-MTIX.
Michigan takes on Illinois this weekend in a three-game series beginning tonight (Friday, April 12) in Champaign, Ill. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. CDT and the game will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network.
