Each week during the 2012 season, MGoBlue.com will ask each member of the University of Michigan softball team the same question as the "Question of the Week."
Week 15: Fill in the blank, winning the Big Ten championship was...
Katie Luetkens -- Electric. It is what we live for and what we dreamed of as a little girl. You get to that moment so you can have the opportunity to play in May, to achieve the ultimate goal. But in that moment, with that specific group of sisters after all you have been through, you can think of no better place to be!
Bree Evans -- One of the best title wins of the four titles our class has won. It is always amazing to be able to win the title at home with all of the fans who have supported us throughout the year. This title was a lot more difficult for us, and it was amazing feeling to be able to push through it and be the second class to win four big ten titles.
Haylie Wagner -- Winning the Big Ten championship was unreal! It was nothing that I ever imagined, and by far the best experience I have ever had! I love that we were all together as a team and never gave up. We were exactly what Michigan softball is supposed to be.
Hilary Payne -- Winning the Big Ten championship was a major highlight of our season and my senior year. All year our team has worked hard, made sacrifices, pushed ourselves to be our best and come together as a team. It took everyone to accomplish this goal and we are not done yet!
Amy Knapp -- Winning the Big Ten championship was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! THAT WORD MAKES ME HAPPY AND SO DOES WINNING A BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP.
Ashley Lane -- Winning the Big Ten championship was a great accomplishment, and I don't think I have ever been that excited to win it. This year was a great battle and I am so stoked we came out as champions!
Lyndsay Doyle -- Winning the Big Ten championship was a such a great accomplishment. Our team was able to stay strong together and it took everyone to win this championship. The three game series was very difficult but we managed to play one game at a time and stay together as a team. Because of that, we were able reach our goal as Big Ten Champs!
Nicole Sappingfield -- Winning the Big Ten championship was unforgettable. The team chemistry and the support of the fans really contributed to the win and it made it that much more incredible.
Becca Garfinkel -- Winning the Big Ten championship was an incredible and surreal experience -- I never expected to be where I am now and feel so lucky to be a part of this accomplishment!
Mandy Gardner -- Winning the Big Ten championship was unreal. This team has gone through so much this year and to see all our hard work pay off is huge. I wouldn't have wanted to spend the season any other way or with any of girls because I love them all like they were my sisters!
Stephanie Speierman -- Winning the Big Ten championship was amazing. It has been exciting each of my three years but winning it at home this year was incredible. It was amazing to be able to celebrate with our fans and have them there cheering us on as we competed for the championship Saturday.
Jaclyn Crummey -- Winning the Big Ten championship was the most rewarding this year than it's ever been. The journey we had to endure to take it was a lot more challenging than it's been in the past and the fact that we had to fight up until the very end made it a huge achievement.
Amanda Chidester -- The best one in my four years! Having a challenging season and winning at home my senior year was a dream come true! It was everything I could have asked for!
Stephanie Kirkpatrick -- Winning the Big Ten title is a remarkable feeling every time. As many of you know, the senior class is the second class to win four back-to-back titles (looks like we just made it tradition), but every year has been tough for one reason or another. This year had the most ups and downs, but we were able to pull through and clinch the victory! The fact that we were able to put aside the losses and sometimes ugly play and keep working together as a team is a true sign of trust, passion and a great team! We may not be playing at home for the postseason like we have the past three years, but if we haven't made it clear already, the team of 2012 is different than all the others. I love the fact that my last game played on Alumni Field will be a mercy-rule victory and forever remember the day we won the Big Ten title against Purdue in front of over 1,000 of our biggest fans! Thank you and Go Blue!
Caitlin Blanchard -- Winning the Big Ten championship was worth it. Some people would say we are crazy for putting ourselves through the physical and mental challenges we encounter as student-athletes. But that championship moment, knowing you were a part of something so great, makes all of the practices, frustrating moments and disappointing games worth the experience.
Lauren Sweet -- Winning the Big Ten title was amazing. It really just goes to show that hard work and commitment pays off because that is what this team has done all year. Also, winning it my freshman year just makes it that much better knowing I have a few more years to do it again!
Brandi Virgil -- Winning the Big Ten was superb. It is always great to see hard work pay off and accomplish a goal that you have been dreaming of.
Sara Driesenga -- Winning the Big Ten championship was memorable. Everyone played a part in winning it and it couldn't have been done if everyone wasn't doing their part. The atmosphere with winning at home was incredible and the ups and downs and how we bounced back will never be forgotten.
Taylor Hasselbach -- Was a great end to a hard working season.
