Michigan grabbed the outright title for the third time in the last five years and won 11 Big Ten contests for the first time in program history.
Michigan once again won the doubles point, taking decisions at No. 2 followed by No. 1. At No. 2, sophomore Ronit Yurovsky (New Kensington, Pa./Plum) and freshman Laura Ucros (Bogota, Colombia/Fundación Nuevo Marymount) dropped just one game in an 8-1 win to put Michigan on the verge of the match's first point.

Yurovsky accounted for Michigan's second point, winning a two-set match at No. 2 (6-1, 6-2) before the matches on courts 4, 5, and 6 even completed the first set.
