Michigan Head Coach Ronni Bernstein
On winning a fifth straight championship ... "I am just really happy for the girls. They put a lot of pride into everything they do and worked so hard all year to get to this point. We talked about how we were just going to go one match at a time this year and not look too far ahead of us. It is a long year and you have to put in a lot of work to get to this point. Five in a row is pretty amazing. It really shows how much this group really fights and battles. They play hard for each other and that is really special."
On putting it all together ... "I still don't think we are quite there. I think we still have a little more in us as we go to the Big Ten Tournament. Today was a great match. Purdue is a really good team that really competed top to bottom. It was a hard one to win, especially playing on the road. It was a great team effort for us."
On heading to the Big Ten Tournament ... "One of our goals is to get it done in the tournament. That has been something we haven't been able to do. We just need to keep playing as a team and competing hard every single point. I think the biggest thing we need to do is keep the one match at a time mentality we had all season long."
