INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Following a 21-5 season and its fourth straight Big Ten championship, the No. 6-ranked University of Michigan women's tennis team secured its 12th straight NCAA bid and will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight season, as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday (April 30). U-M, the No. 10 seed, will host the four-team regional May 10-11 at the Varsity Tennis Center.

Michigan will face IPFW (23-7) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 10, at 1 p.m. Notre Dame (17-8) and NC State (14-9) will also be in action at the VTC, squaring off at 10 a.m.

The winners will play for a chance to advance to the Sweet 16 on Saturday, May 11, at 1 p.m. The team finals are in Champaign, Ill., and will run May 17-21. Michigan is looking for its fourth straight NCAA Sweet 16 appearance.

The Maize and Blue won the program's fourth straight Big Ten title this season with a 10-1 Big Ten mark. U-M advanced to the Big Ten Tournament final for the ninth straight season before falling to Northwestern to snap its eight-match winning streak.
