Michigan -- U-M returns six letterwinners from last year's Big Ten championship team that went 23-6 and reached the NCAA Sweet 16 for the fourth consecutive season. The Wolverines welcome newcomers Laura Ucros, Annie Wierda and Sara Remynse to the team. The All-America doubles duo of Brooke Bolender and Emina Bektas rank No. 3 on the ITA's preseason doubles list. Bektas headlines three Wolverines who garnered singles rankings, coming in at No. 25, with Ronit Yurovsky (No. 36) and Sarah Lee (No. 59) rounding out the ranked singles players.
Tulane -- Tulane University ended the 2012-2013 season with an overall record of 17-7 (4-1 C-USA). It returns its top player, senior Klara Vyskocilova, ranked No. 53 in singles. Last season, Vyskocilova (19-8 singles, 11-10 doubles) was named first-team All-Conference USA and All-Louisiana, as well as a Louisiana Co-Player of the Year. Joining her are sophomores Ipek Birol and Jacqui Katz, who ended the 2012-2013 season with singles records of 17-6 and 12-3, respectively. Senior Jenny Hois returns for the Green Wave after finishing 8-14 in singles competition last season, while junior Emily Dvorak and sophomore Meredith Maltby round out this season's team.
Notre Dame -- In its last season in the Big East Conference, Notre Dame (18-9, 3-0 Big East) captured its sixth consecutive Big East championship before beginning the 2013-2014 season as a new member of the ACC. The Fighting Irish return three ITA ranked singles players in No. 35 Britney Sanders, No. 87 Quinn Gleason and No. 117 Jennifer Kellner, as well as the No. 49 ranked doubles partnership of Sanders and fellow senior Julie Sabacinski. Sanders finished the 2012-2013 season with a singles record of 24-14, while Gleason and Kellner finished with singles records of 25-8 and 18-13, respectively.
