ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Four freshmen from the University of Michigan women's track and field team will compete in the USA Junior Outdoor Championships from June 15-17 at Indiana's Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex in Bloomington, Ind.

Laura Addison (Spring Lake, Mich./Grand Haven) and Devon Hoppe (Newport Beach, Calif./Corona Del Mar) will compete in the 1,500-meter run, Anna Pasternak (Brighton, Mich./Hartland) will run the 3,000-meter steeplechase, and Victoria Wesley (Marine City, Mich./Marine City) will compete in the pole vault.

The meet will serve as the Team USA qualifier for this year's IAAF World Junior Championships, which will be held July 10-15 in Barcelona, Spain.

Pasternak finished 17th in the steeplechase at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in a personal-best time of 10:35.32. Wesley's personal-best mark is 3.87 meters (12-8 1/4).
