Erin Moore is in her fifth season in a support role with the University of Michigan volleyball program. Moore returned to her alma mater in 2006 after spending two years away to play professionally. Moore continues to train during the college season and has played internationally during the spring and summer the last six years.
Moore became the first All-American in Wolverine volleyball history after a record-setting senior campaign in 2003. Moore was a two-time captain with the Wolverines, earning All-Big first team honors in 2002 and 2003, while picking up honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2001.
Moore played professionally for Criollas de Caguas (Puerto Rico), starring on the outside in 2006-07 and helping lead her club to a second place finish in the league. She played two seasons of professional volleyball with Playas Benidorm in Spain (2004-05, 2005-06) starting as an outside hitter and helping the team to a fourth-place finish in the 14-team league. In addition to playing against teams from Spain, Moore and Benidorm competed in CEW Cup tournaments throughout Europe, competing against some of the best professional teams in the world.
Moore holds the U-M single-season record for blocks (161) and still ranks among the top five players all-time in five statistical categories (kills, attack attempts, hitting percentage, total blocks, block assists).
