• Michigan hit .429 for the match, which is a season high. The last time the Wolverines had that high of a hitting percentage was on Nov. 10, 2012, when the Maize and Blue hit .460 in a win over Minnesota.

• Both Michigan and Ohio went 2-0 on the day in the Michigan Invitational, setting up a de facto championship match Saturday night (Sept. 21) at 7 p.m.

• Senior Jennifer Cross set a career high with a .722 hitting percentage (13-0-18). Cross hit .667 twice in her career, most recently vs. Eastern Illinois on Sept. 8, 2012.

• Cross also set a season high with seven blocks. She had six in the season opener vs. Clemson on Aug. 30.

• Senior Lexi Erwin tied her career high with four blocks. This is her seventh four-block match in her career.
