Wolverines Announce 2017 Spring Schedule

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan volleyball team and head coach Mark Rosen announced the program's 2017 spring schedule on Tuesday (Jan. 24). The season will span across three separate weekends in March and April, including a five-team home tournament the Wolverines will host on April 8.

Michigan will open spring play on Saturday, March 18, at the Grand Rapids Showcase at Aquinas College, which will feature matches against Western Michigan, Oakland and Xavier.

Following a closed scrimmage against NCAA participant Dayton the following weekend, the Wolverines will host the Michigan Spring Tournament on Saturday, April 8, with match times to be determined. The six-team tournament will feature contests between Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Central Michigan, Toledo and the host Wolverines. The matches will take place at Cliff Keen Arena and admission will be free.

Michigan will wrap up spring play on Wednesday, April 12, with a match against Michigan State as part of the Motor City Showcase. The match is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first serve at Dakota High School in Macomb, Mich.
