COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- University of Michigan volleyball junior Lexi Dannemiller (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) has been named to the 12-member U.S. Collegiate National Team during a tour to China June-17-27. Head coach Mark Rosen also has been named a co-head coach to that squad.

Dannemiller, a setter, averaged 10.84 assists and 2.09 digs per set in 2013. She had six 50-plus assist matches, including a season-high 58 on two occasions (Sept. 21 vs. Ohio; Nov. 10 vs. Northwestern). Dannemiller also had nine double-doubles on the season, including a 48-assist, 14-dig performance in the NCAA Tournament first-round match vs. LSU (Dec. 6). She was named a Big Ten Setter of the Week twice in 2013 (Sept. 9 and Oct. 21). Dannemiller also earned AVCA honorable mention All-America honors.

The tour is being organized by Bring It Promotions and will travel in partnership with the Pac-12 team that will be making a return trip this summer following a successful trip in 2013. The U.S. Collegiate National Team, which will train at University of Southern California June 13-15 before leaving for China, will play six matches against Chinese collegiate and adult teams.

Athlete selections for all three U.S. Collegiate National Team programs are being determined based on evaluations from the U.S. Women's National Team Open tryouts held Feb. 21-23 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Rosen's co-head coach will be announced later this month. He also has been a pipeline coach for USA Volleyball High Performance.
