2012 Michigan Volleyball Schedule | TICKETS
CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Network jointly announced today (Friday, Aug. 3) its schedule for the 2012 volleyball season. The University of Michigan will have three matches on the network this fall, all occurring in the month of October.
U-M's first match on BTN will be Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Minnesota. The match will start at 7 p.m. CDT (8 p.m. EDT). The Wolverines defeated the Golden Gophers in three sets last season in Minneapolis. The Maize and Blue will be back on the network one week later with a home match against 2011 national runner-up Illinois at 8 p.m. Michigan's final appearance on BTN will take place on Friday, Oct. 26 at Purdue with an 8 p.m. EDT start.
BTN's volleyball coverage also includes the BTN Volleyball Report, a new, weekly web-only show hosted by Mike Wolf, who does volleyball play-by-play. Fans can also follow the entire season on Twitter @B1GVolleyball and @BTNVolleyball.
Since the Big Ten Network's inception in 2007, Michigan volleyball has been shown 21 times on the channel, including the three matches this season.
The Big Ten Network streaming and Student U volleyball schedule will be released at a later date.
