Each week during the 2011 season, MGoBlue.com will ask each member of the University of Michigan volleyball team the same question as the "Question of the Week."

Week 7: Where is the best place you have ever visited, whether a vacation or playing volleyball, and why?

Lexi Erwin -- My favorite volleyball road trip was when we played Washington in Seattle last year. It was so outdoorsy and pretty. My favorite family vacation was when we went to Prague the summer before I left for college. We had no air conditioning or internet for the whole trip, so let's just say some serious bonding occurred!

Lauren Teknipp -- The best place I have ever gone was Singapore for the Youth Olympic Games last August. It was the first-ever Youth Olympics, so it was something I will never forget! I got to interact with so many different kinds of people and cultures. It was also my first time out of the country. We ended up getting the silver medal, losing to Belgium (I'm no longer a huge fan of that country now). But it was definitely an experience of a lifetime and spending those three weeks playing volleyball with my team couldn't have been more fun!

Courtney Fletcher -- One of the coolest trips I have ever been on was the overseas trip with the Michigan volleyball team to Brazil right after my freshman year. We traveled around Sao Paulo for a couple of days and played several matches against local professional teams, took a couple of days off in Buzios to go on a boat tour, relax on the beach and shop in the local town. We went to Brazil's Volleyball National Training Center and played their junior national team, and ended in Rio de Janeiro where we did some amazing sightseeing. The trip itself was amazing and we got some great volleyball experience, but the best part is that since I was there with the team, I was sharing it with my best friends.

Jennifer Cross -- My favorite place I have ever been is definitely Tenerife, Spain, which is off the coast of Africa. I went there last summer to play beach volleyball for team Canada. It was so beautiful! I have never seen beaches that clean and beautiful. There was so much happening all the time and there were so many little shops along the beach. Plus I got a great tan at the same time!

Alex Hunt -- The best place I have ever been was Brazil, when the team went there in 2009. The country was beautiful, especially the beaches.

Sloane Donhoff -- My favorite trip has to be when we went Brazil as a team the summer after my freshman year. It was my first time out of the country, so I was super excited, and Brazil was such a beautiful place. We got to go on a city tour of Rio, go up to the Christ Redeemer statue, swim in the ocean, go out on a beautiful sailboat, and eat amazing food. It was an awesome trip!

Catherine Yager -- The best place I have ever gone so far is St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. I went there for Spring break two years ago with Claire (McElheny), Sloane (Donhoff) and former teammate Juliana (Paz). It was amazingly beautiful. The water was so blue you could see all the way down to the sand! It has definitely been the most amazing vacation I have gone on yet!

Michelle McMahon -- The best place I have ever gone is Ireland. My family (two sisters, brother, and parents) took a trip there this past summer for two weeks shortly after my grandpa passed away. He is 100 percent Irish, so it was really cool to pay tribute to his life in that special way since he was always a huge part of all of our lives. Although it made us all miss him even more, I'm glad I got to learn more about myself, my family and my Irish heritage. I know he was smiling from above throughout our entire trip. McMahon family vacations are always an adventure!

Karlee Bruck -- The best place I have ever gone was Brazil! It was such an amazing experience getting to travel to the different cities and experience the food, volleyball and culture. The Olympic training center was an awesome experience, but Rio de Janeiro was my favorite because we got to see the Christ Redeemer and the view from the top was absolutely breathtaking. It was also really neat that we got to go with Juliana Paz and see where she grew up.

Olivia Reed -- This one is easy for me. The best place I have ever been on vacation is Rome, Italy. My grandparents lived there for a few years, so I actually have been there twice. It is the most beautiful city in the world and has the best food. I literally ate gelato every day I was there, and I was there for several weeks each time.

Lexi Dannemiller -- The best place I have ever been is Barcelona. I love the culture, the city is beautiful and the art is one of a kind. I wish I could live there one day! Not to mention, the food is delicious!

Ally Sabol -- The best place I have ever been is Hawaii. Obviously because it is Hawaii, and it was the tannest I have ever been! But I have never been outside the country, so being off the continental U.S. is the closest I have come to that.

Claire McElheny -- My family went on a sailboat with a captain and a chef for two weeks around the Caribbean over Christmas and New Year's in 2007. We spent each day at a different island and it was incredible! It was a lot of family time, plus no cell phone service, which was kind of nice.

Brittany Lee -- My favorite place is Splash Mountain at Disney World. It is the happiest place on earth, and I love the animatronics!

Molly Toon -- My favorite place is Italy because it was like I was walking through history. And the food wasn't half bad!
