ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan volleyball team will host its annual "Pink Match" this Saturday (Oct. 12) against Iowa at 7 p.m. inside Cliff Keen Arena.
The Wolverines will wear pink jerseys, which will be open for bidding in a silent auction throughout the match until 10 minutes after its conclusion. The proceeds from the auction will benefit the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The M Den also will have pink merchandise for sale at its match store, located in the Cliff Keen Arena lobby. A portion of their sales also will benefit the American Cancer Society.
This is the sixth consecutive year the volleyball team has held a Pink Match. Last year, the auction raised more than $2,300 for the American Cancer Society.
