Each week during the 2011 season, MGoBlue.com will ask each member of the University of Michigan volleyball team the same question as the "Question of the Week."
Week 10: With Halloween around the corner, what has been the best costume you have ever worn?
Sloane Donhoff - I don't know why, but I have been an Indian princess multiple times in my life for Halloween, even since I've been in college. I think it's because one of my favorite Disney movies growing up as a kid was "Pocahontas."
Karlee Bruck - This is an easy one! Last year's costume was by far the BEST Halloween costume I have ever worn. I paired up with Molly Toon and we dressed up as Kip (Me) and Lafawnduh (Molly) from the movie "Napoleon Dynamite."
Molly Toon - Last year, Karlee and I went as Kip and Lafawnduh from "Napoleon Dynamite." It was my best and most creative costume by far. We stayed in character the whole night!
Brittany Lee - My best Halloween costume was last year when I was the green alien from "Toy Story." I painted my face green and went around saying, "the CLAW," all night long. It was truly epic.
Lauren Teknipp - One year I was Baby Spice from the Spice Girls. I was OBSESSED with them; I had all of their movies, music, Barbie dolls, clothes and everything else. I guess you could say I was a fan. This was just a very special one for me, and my mom even made the costume herself. I had some awesome white go-go boots to complete my outfit, and it was my favorite!
Courtney Fletcher - First, I must give credit to my mom for my love of costumes. Growing up, she sewed my costumes and I always looked cute, put together, and festive. However, I would credit my costume from last year as my best to date when I was the little boy (Russell) from the movie "Up!" My outfit was complete with a wilderness explorer hat, bandanna, backpack with all the essentials (radio, flippers, snorkel, a lantern, snacks, and a tennis racket), a sash with badges (which were real copies of all my badges from girl scouts growing up), and finally a huge bouquet of balloons attached to my backpack. It was difficult to move around with all the props, but so worth it.
Ally Sabol - My favorite Halloween costume was when I was a bee in seventh grade. It wasn't really creative or anything, but it was cute and I got to wear a tutu.
Lexi Erwin - My grandma used to make my Halloween costumes when I was younger because she is into the sewing scene. When I was seven years old, she made my sisters and me be dandelions. We each had a green bodysuit and then we wore a headband with HUGE petals sewn onto it. It was quite the outfit, but it was by far my best effort.
Claire McElheny - When I was three, my mom dressed me up in a black sweatshirt and sweatpants. I went as a spider when she connected three more "legs" to each of my arms.
Catherine Yager - When I was about five years old, I've seen pictures of myself dressed in a lion costume. It was so cute! There was no way anyone was not going to give me candy!
Alex Hunt - I was the blonde witch from the movie "Hocus Pocus" in the first grade. My mom made the most elaborate costume.
Michelle McMahon - My best Halloween costume was by far sophomore year with the "fab five" (Claire, Alex, Courtney and Sloane). We were the Spice Girls and naturally I was "Ginger Spice." I wore a British flag dress with white boots; it was awesome.
Olivia Reed - My friends and I always took Halloween very seriously and would make lists of costume ideas in the summer in preparation. I think my favorite theme we did was "Clue" characters during our junior year of high school. I was Professor Plum, and I carried around an old fashion pipe everywhere. All night we would joke about what rooms we were in and who committed the murder and with what weapon.
Lexi Dannemiller - My best Halloween costume was when I was a baby and my parents dressed me up as a pumpkin. I was the cutest baby pumpkin, no doubt.
