Michigan and Indiana split its two previous meetings this season. The Wolverines won the regular-season game, 8-7 in overtime, in Bloomington (March 30), while Indiana claimed a 10-7 win in the first round of the CWPA Western Division Championship (April 13).
U-M improved to 33-9-1 in the all-time series against Indiana. Of the 43 games in the series history, 19 have been decided by one goal, while the initial meeting resulted in a 4-4 tie.
The Wolverines have made the CWPA Eastern Championship final in eight of the last nine seasons. Michigan is 5-3 in the title game.
Michigan is 32-8 at the Eastern Championship all-time and 26-7 under head coach Matt Anderson.
The Wolverines went 3-for-6 on power-play opportunities, while the Hoosiers went 4-for-6.
Senior goalkeeper Alex Adamson owns 10 double-digit save performances this season.
