The University of Michigan water polo team (6-8) will play five games over a three-day span. The Wolverines will begin their stint with non-conference exhibition play against No. 16 Hartwick on Friday (March 9) at 6 p.m. at Moyer Pool in Oneonta, N.Y. The exhibition play will be the Wolverines' first since 2006.

This weekend, the Maize and Blue heads to Poughkeepsie, N.Y., to make its first appearance at the Red Fox Invitational inside McCann Natatorium. On Saturday (March 10), Michigan will face Iona at 11:45 a.m. and Brown at 8:30 p.m. On Sunday (March 3), U-M will meet Hartwick in conference play at 9:15 a.m. and will close its play against host Marist at 1 p.m.

The Wolverines are coming off a 15-4 victory at Gannon last Friday (March 2) to open their conference slate. Eleven players registered a goal for U-M, led by Kelsey Nolan's first career hat trick.

Michigan edged No. 14 Hartwick, 8-7, to claim its 10th consecutive CWPA division crown on at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium. Kiki Golden (Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) dented the twine five times, including the game-winner with 33 seconds remaining. Alex Adamson (Coronado, Calif./Coronado) made four stops in the cage.

   Series: Michigan lead 4-0
   Last Meeting: W, 10-6 (3/13/11 - Ann Arbor, Mich.)
Michigan became the first program in the modern era to reach 300 wins, defeating Iona, 10-6, during day-two action of the Wolverine Invitational inside Canham Natatorium. Meagan Cobb (Hudsonville, Mich./Hudsonville) scored five goals on the day. Alex Adamson (Coronado, Calif./Coronado) made nine saves.

   Series: Michigan lead 9-3
   Last Meeting: W, 8-4 (2/15/09 - Cambridge, Mass.)
Michigan swept through day two of the Harvard Invitational, finishing with an 8-4 win over Brown at Blodgett Pool. Meagan Cobb (Hudsonville, Mich./Hudsonville) recorded three goals on the day.

On the day of its 300th victory in program history, Michigan defeated Marist, 12-5, during day-two action of the Wolverine Invitational on Sunday (March 13) inside Canham Natatorium. The Wolverines and Red Foxes traded goals through the first nine minutes of the day's first game, before Meagan Cobb sparked an 8-0 run for the Maize and Blue that carried into the fourth period. Cobb scored four times in the contest, while Lauren Colton (Mission Viejo, Calif./Tesoro) added a pair.

The Wolverines will face their 12th ranked opponent when they square off against No. 16 Hartwick, which is currently ranked No. 17 (new rankings are released Wednesday). When the Maize and Blue play the number 17th-ranked team, it holds a 13-3 record all-time.

On the year, Michigan is 2-9 when facing opponents in the CWPA Top 20. The win over No. 6 Hawai'i was the first time this season U-M defeated a higher ranked team in the national poll. The last was on Jan. 22, 2011, when it handed No. 7 San Jose State a 9-7 loss during the Michigan Kick-Off.

The Wolverines have won 10 consecutive CWPA division crowns overall and three of the last four CWPA Eastern Championship titles. The postseason divisional tournament returns on April 14-15 in Bloomington, Ind., after a one-year hiatus. During the break, Michigan was named the 2011 Western Division champion based on its regular-season record. Michigan had won the previous seven CWPA Western Division Tournament championships and a pair of Southern Division tournament crowns before that. Overall, U-M has not lost a regular-season league game since 2007 and is 71-3 in conference games all-time.

Kelsey Nolan (San Jose, Calif./Leland) posted Michigan's 10th hat trick of the season, recording the first of her career in the Wolverines' 15-4 victory over Gannon last Friday (March 2). U-M's 2012 season hat trick count includes: Kiki Golden (4), Lauren Colton (2), Audrey Pratt (1), Lauren Thatcher (1) and Meagan Cobb (1).

Kiki Golden (Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) leads the Wolverines with 37 goals, scoring in 13-of-14 games on the year. She recorded another hat trick on the season with three goals in U-M's win over No. 6 Hawai'i.

Lauren Thatcher (Canyon Lake, Calif./Temescal Canyon) claimed her first CWPA Freshman of the Week honor, registering five goals, three assists, two steals and one drawn kickout in the UC Irvine Invitational. She recorded her first career hat trick in the Wolverines' 9-8 win over No. 6 Hawai'i.

Kiki Golden (Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) and Lauren Colton (Mission Viejo, Calif./Tesoro) both reached 100 career goals during the UC Irvine Invitational, played Feb. 25-26. Both captured their 100th in the Wolverines' match-up against Hawai'i. After facing competition in the UC Irvine Invitational, Golden extends her count to 106, while Colton now posts 104.

COBB'S 150
Meagan Cobb (Hudsonville, Mich./Hudsonville) reached 150 career points after hitting the milestone when she registered one goal in the match-up against UCLA on Feb. 5. On the year, Cobb has 15 points from 10 goals and five assists, and 152 points in her career.

Audrey Pratt (Burlingame, Calif./Burlingame) recorded her 50th career point during Michigan's 7-5 win over UC Davis on Feb. 2. To open the season, Pratt registered her first career hat trick during the Michigan Kick-Off.

Attackers Kiki Golden (Danville, Calif./Monte Vista), Kelsey Nolan (San Jose, Calif./Leland) and Elizabeth Williams (Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad) received CWPA weekly honors on Feb. 7 for their performances during U-M's five-game stretch in California. Golden was named Player of the Week for the second time in her career. Nolan was tabbed Defensive Player of the Year, garnering her second CWPA title. Williams received her first conference award as she was named Freshman of the Week.
