The won/loss records from games 4, 7 and 8 determine places fifth through seventh

Michigan has won 11 of its last 13 games and closed out the regular season last week at Maryland with a 2-1 record, picking up wins against George Washington (16-4) and Bucknell (12-7).

The Wolverines dropped their season finale to host school No. 11 Maryland, 10-9, with the game's outcome holding top-seed implication to this week's Western Division Championship.

During the three-game stretch over the past weekend, Michigan was highlighted by offensive efforts from Kiki Golden (Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) and Kelsey Nolan (San Jose, Calif./Leland), with both registering hat tricks.

Tara Brigham (Baytown, Texas/Sterling), Alex Adamson (Coronado, Calif./Coronado) and Morgan Turner (Mission Viejo, Calif./Trabuco Hills) split time in the cage. Brigham posted career highs in saves (15) and assists (5) to lead U-M over George Washington. Adamson picked up the win against Bucknell, registering five stops, and Turner was tagged with the loss to Maryland, finishing with 11 saves.

The Wolverines have won 10 consecutive CWPA division crowns overall (2002-11) and three of the last four CWPA Eastern Championship titles. The postseason divisional tournament returns on April 14-15 in Bloomington, Ind., after a one-year hiatus. During the break, Michigan was named the 2011 Western Division champion based on its regular-season record. Michigan had won the previous seven CWPA Western Division Tournament championships and a pair of Southern Division tournament crowns before that. Despite losing a regular-season league game for the first time since 2007, U-M holds an overall record of 75-5 in conference games all-time.
