Head Coach Mel Pearson
Mel Pearson was named University of Michigan's head coach of ice hockey on Monday, April 24. Pearson, who becomes the ninth head coach in program history, returns to Ann Arbor after previously serving 23 seasons as an assistant coach for the Wolverines.
Over the course of those 23 years, the Wolverines posted a 667-243-71 record while capturing 11 Central Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season titles, nine CCHA Tournament crowns and two NCAA championships (1996 and 1998) in addition to making 11 NCAA Frozen Four appearances.

As a Michigan Ice Hockey Season Ticket Holder, you have priority access to available postseason sales, based upon priority points.
Michigan Ice Hockey Season Ticket Holders have the opportunity to re-sell their season tickets through an integrated and easy to use platform with StubHub, the official fan-to-fan marketplace for Michigan Athletics. This relationship helps Season Ticket Holders utilize their ticket use to help ensure their ticket investment is fully optimized.
Individual Game Ticket Transfer
Michigan Season Ticket Holders have the option to electronically email their tickets to a recipient of their choice. This easy to use and free platform is another way to help Season Ticket Holders utilize their tickets and to help ensure their ticket investment is fully optimized.
One point is awarded for each year of season ticket purchases (since 1992). The Priority Points Program provides a framework for the equitable allocation of donor experiences, such as season ticket upgrades. Whether you like to watch the game from on the ice or in the privacy of your own box, Yost offers options to enhance the experience for all of our donors. Premium seating donors are also given the opportunity to purchase season parking passes.
Ice Level seats provide an incredible up close and personal view of the game. Seated right next to the action, donors also have the ability to access to the complementary buffet in the refurbished club level.
These theater-style boxes offer the ultimate comfort for donors to experience Michigan Hockey. In addition to office-chair style seating for six people, each Champions Box features 42-inch flat-screen televisions, a refrigerator and access to the custom catering service. Each box will also receive two complimentary parking passes.
The Club Seats were enhanced during the recent Yost Ice Arena renovations. We have increased common space making it easier for donors to access the complimentary buffet, beverages and several flat-screen televisions. These comfortable chairback seats also have the best sight lines in the arena.
