Ice Hockey MCard Policies
University of Michigan ice hockey tickets are loaded onto your current MCards now! All Michigan ice hockey student tickets will be first-come, first-serve seating in the student sections (no pre-reserved seating or printed season tickets will be used). This change was made to make it more convenient for you, and to create an early exciting atmosphere at Yost. Just show up to the games, where you will swipe your MCard and ticket takers will give you a ticket voucher for a student section seat. Make sure to get there early to get the best seats!
MCard ID Station
The Athletic Ticket Office is now a new MCard ID issuing station for new, lost, and replacement MCards!
The fee for lost or damaged MCards is $20 to be paid by cash, check or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The Athletic Ticket Office MCard ID station will be open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
If you replace your MCard anytime during the season, you must call the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office at (734)-764-0247 Monday-Friday before 5 p.m. to have your season ticket transferred to your new card.
Electronically Transfer Tickets
With the tickets on your MCard, you can now easily and electronically transfer your tickets to someone else if you are unable to make a game. Use of the ticket is free for other U-M students and Michigan fans. Transferred tickets will be emailed to the recipient as a pdf 'Print at Home' ticket. Transfers can begin Friday, Oct. 3.
In order to transfer your tickets, you must sign In to your online account at www.mgoblue.com/tickets (Michigan Students) and select "My Account." Under Manage My Tickets, choose Transfer Tickets and select the game. Enter the recipient's info, click Submit and you're all set!
Your recipient will receive an email with an invitation to accept the transfer. In order for the tickets to successfully transfer, the recipient must accept the transfer within 24 hours and at least three hours prior to the event start time.
Once the transfer is accepted, a 'Print at Home' pdf ticket will be emailed to them to bring to the game. This pdf must be presented at the student entrance on the east side of Yost Ice Arena.
Please note that once a transfer is accepted, this cannot be undone and you cannot reclaim the ticket in your account.
Note: Online ticket sales for an event end five hours before game time. After that, tickets may be purchased via phone at (866) 296-MTIX during regular business hours (8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. ET, Monday-Friday) or at the door if an event is not sold out.
