2013 U-M Student Football Ticket Policies
ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to order and maintain a Michigan football season ticket, a student must intend to register for enough credit hours to become at least a half-time student and maintain such registration for the entire Fall 2013 term. A half-time student is an undergraduate student registered for at least 6 credit hours or a graduate student registered for at least 4 credit hours.
PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY: The Ticket Office will check your registration status with the Registrar's Office. If you are not properly registered prior to the beginning of the season, your season ticket will be held until you provide us with proof of such registration. If you are not properly registered after the season begins, the Ticket Office will deactivate the bar code on your season tickets for the remaining games and no refund will be issued.
ORDERING: Current or previously enrolled students may order a football season ticket in the amount of $280 plus a $15 service charge (includes seven home games) beginning Tuesday, April 23, at 8:30 a.m. You may also order the Official 2013 Season T-shirt for $15. New students (incoming freshmen, new graduate and transfer students) can order in June.
SEATING: New this season is that all student seating will be GENERAL ADMISSION. This change in policy from reserved seating was put in place as the student section is the driving force behind our home field advantage and we need students to get there early and often to create a loud and full student section for kickoff.
More details on this new GENERAL ADMISSION policy and procedure will be shared prior to the season (note: seating groups no longer apply during the ticket order process as you will simply enter the stadium together).
DEADLINE: Friday, May 3, at 5 p.m. There is a waitlist for returning students who missed the deadline. To be added to the waitlist, please send an email to email@example.com with your name, student ID number, daytime phone number, and the subject: Student Waitlist. If we have seats available after the new students order, or if there are any cancellations, we will contact students on the waitlist to take orders.
SEATING LOCATION: The student section will begin at the aisle break in section 25 and will extend through section 33, if needed.
DISABILITY: The Athletic Department encourages persons with disabilities to attend Michigan football games. If you need to purchase a wheelchair accessible season ticket or have questions about the physical access provided, please call the Ticket Office at (866) 296-6849 (MTIX) prior to ordering tickets or attending a game.
MAILING: Football tickets will be mailed in August if you are enrolled for the Fall 2013 term. Be sure your application address is correct. If you are unsure of your summer address, choose the "will call" delivery option for your tickets to be held for pickup. Tickets will not be mailed to 48109 zip codes, unverified duplicate addresses, fraternity/sorority houses, or addresses outside of the US /Canada. These tickets will be held and must be picked up in person by the applicant with student ID. The post office has been instructed not to forward any tickets. Therefore, please update your address on mgoblue.com/tickets by signing in and updating your information under My Account by June 1, 2012. You may also fax or mail the change of address form to the Ticket Office by June 1, 2013. If you do not receive your tickets by August 27, 2013, please call (866) 296-6849 to check on the status of your order.
STUDENT ID: Your student ID must be presented with your ticket to enter Michigan Stadium. No one shall use the ID of another student. If you do not have your Mcard upon arriving at Michigan Stadium, you will be required to validate your ticket in order to gain entry. No exceptions.
NON-STUDENT USE: A student ticket may be used by a non-student if it is validated to the public price. The price of a validation sticker is the difference between the student price and the public price. Validations will begin in late August. Complete validation information and purchase locations will be available on mgoblue.com/ticketoffice in mid-August.

AWAY GAMES: From Wednesday, April 24, 2013 until Friday, April 26, 2013, student season ticket holders may apply for away game tickets in person at the Athletic Ticket Office by presenting their student ID and payment. A $10 service charge will be added to each order.

If the number of applications received exceeds ticket availability, a lottery will be held with results available June 4. Away game tickets must be picked up in person by the student applicant in the fall at the Ticket Office. Students not registered by September 1 will automatically be refunded for away game ticket orders. If you wish to sit with your friends at an away game, you must turn in your applications at the same time. You may complete applications for other students, but each student must pick up their own ticket.
SCALPING: Scalping (selling a ticket above face value) violates University policy and Michigan law. Attempting to sell or solicit the sale of a ticket (even at face value) on campus without a permit also violates University policy. Therefore, a violation of these University policies or this Michigan law may result in your ineligibility to purchase football season tickets in the future even if criminal charges are not filed against you. The Athletic Department reserves the right to declare you ineligible to order football tickets if it receives sufficient evidence that a football ticket assigned to you was sold or was offered for sale at greater than the face value of the ticket.
NSF CHECKS: Returned checks will be assessed a $30.00 fee. If you do not honor your returned check promptly, your ticket order will be cancelled. You will be responsible for the $30 fee before you may purchase tickets to any Michigan sporting event.
REFUNDS: If you apply for a season ticket and later decide not to enroll for the Fall 2013 term, you may receive a full refund (less the service charge) provided you send a written request and return the tickets to the Ticket Office prior to August 27, 2013. No phone requests will be accepted. Additionally, there will be no refunds for students whose season tickets have been voided because the student is not properly registered.
MISCELLANEOUS: Only tickets purchased directly from the Ticket Office are guaranteed to be valid. Individuals admitted with invalid tickets will be ejected. Everyone must have a ticket regardless of age. The Ticket Office assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or destroyed tickets, or tickets mailed from locations other than the Ticket Office.
