Michigan Baseball and Softball Inclement Weather Policy

Season Ticket Holders

• If a game is rescheduled, the original ticket and seat location is valid for the new date and time.

• If a game is cancelled, Season Ticket Holders may return their original ticket(s) to the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm) in exchange for any regular season game (Softball - EXCEPT MSU) that is not sold out.

BASEBALL only: Exchanges can be made at the Ray Fisher ticket booths on game day, but fans are encouraged to exchange in advance at the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office to avoid long lines on game day.

SOFTBALL only: Exchanges will not be made at the Alumni Field ticket booths on game day.

  • Exchanged tickets will be located in the General Admission Outfield Bleachers and will be based upon seat availability. We are unable to offer infield seating as an exchange option due to the seating capacity limitations of Alumni Field. If you are exchanging multiple season tickets, all tickets must be exchanged for the same new game and cannot be used for multiple events.

  • Ex: A Season Ticket Holder has four (4) season tickets, and the game versus Bowling Green is cancelled due to poor weather and is not rescheduled. The Season Ticket Holder wishes to exchange the Bowling Green tickets for the Western Michigan game. All four tickets must be exchanged for the Western Michigan game. If the Season Ticket Holder chooses to exchange only two (2) of the four Bowling Green tickets for the Western Michigan game, they will not be able to exchange the remaining two tickets for a different game.

• Any unused exchange opportunities do not carry over to the following season.

  • Ex: The Bowling Green game is cancelled due to poor weather and is not rescheduled. A Season Ticket Holder can choose to exchange the Bowling Green ticket(s) for any other regular season game (Softball - EXCEPT MSU) that is not sold out. The season ends without the Season Ticket Holder utilizing the exchange opportunity. The Season Ticket Holder cannot exchange the Bowling Green ticket(s) for a game played in the following season.

• Season tickets are not eligible for a refund on a single game basis.


Individual Game Ticket Holders

• If a game is rescheduled, the original ticket and seat location is valid for the new date and time.

• If a game is cancelled, Individual Game Ticket Holders can request a refund by returning unused tickets to the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office. In order to be considered for a refund, the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office must receive the unused tickets within 14 days of the original date of game. Any tickets received after 14 days of the original date of game will not be considered for a refund.

  • Ex: A customer purchased tickets to watch a game that was to be played on March 1. The game is cancelled due to poor weather and is not rescheduled. The Ticket Holder wishes to return the unused tickets for a refund. The Michigan Athletic Ticket Office must receive the tickets on or prior to March 15 in order for the refund to be considered.
