Victors Club: Priority Point Examples
The following examples based on season ticket renewals in 2009 will give you an idea of how the Preferred Seating Program and Priority Point Program work. These are examples only; your individual situation will vary.
Example 1: Mr. Victor
Mr. Victor has four football season tickets in Section 3, which require a total contribution of $1,000, or $250 per ticket. He earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan and lettered in baseball. He made past contributions to the Athletic Department totaling $3,500 and contributions to the Business School totaling $1,500. He has purchased football, men's basketball, and ice hockey tickets for 14 years.
Mr. Victor's Point Calculation:
Example 2: Mrs. Wolverine
Mrs. Wolverine has two football season tickets in Section 41, which require a total contribution of $250, or $125 per ticket. She is a charter member of the Victors Club with past contributions to the Athletic Department totaling $35,000. She has purchased football and hockey tickets for 11 years.
Mrs. Wolverine's Point Calculation:
Example 3: Mr. & Mrs. Blue
Mr. & Mrs. Blue have six football season tickets in Section 22, which require a total contribution of $3,000, or $500 per ticket. (However, they decide to contribute $5,000 this year.) They both earned their degrees from Michigan, and she also lettered in volleyball for four years. They have a past giving history with Athletics totaling $8,500 and have purchased football season tickets for 14 years.

Example 4: Mr. Maize
Mr. Maize has four season tickets in Section 38, which do not require a contribution. He earned a degree from Michigan and has given a total of $100,000 to the College of Engineering. He is a charter member of the Victors Club with a total of $10,000 in past gifts to Athletics. He has purchased football season tickets for 8 years.
Mr. Maize's Point Calculation:
Example 5: Ms. Valiant
Ms. Valiant has four season tickets in Section 15, which do not require a contribution. She contributed $500 to the Victors Club this year. She earned a degree from Michigan and has given a total of $100,000 to the College of LS&A. She is a charter member of the Victors Club with a total of $10,000 in past gifts to Athletics. She has purchased football tickets for 12 years and ice hockey tickets for 9 years.
Ms. Valiant's Point Calculation:
Example 6: Mr. Go Blue
Mr. Go Blue has four season tickets in Section 43, which require a $1,500 contribution. He earned a degree from Michigan. He has never made a gift to the Athletic Department or the University. He has purchased football season tickets since 1973.
