Priority Point Program
The Victors Club Priority Point Program is a comprehensive measure of your support for the University and Athletic Department. It provides a framework for the equitable allocation of tickets, parking and other benefits based on annual giving level and priority point rankings within those levels.
Priority points are calculated on a fiscal year basis and your benefits are earned in arrears. Your donations between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012 determine your benefits for the 2012-13 academic/competitive year.
Activating Priority Points
To activate priority points and have them count toward benefits in 2012-13, you must make a donation of at least $100 to the Victors Club by January 31, 2012. Preferred Seat Donations (PSDs) count toward activation and point total.
Calculating Priority Points
Priority Points are assigned as follows:
- 1 Point - Athletic Donations
One point is awarded for each $100 donation to the Athletic Department. A PSD is a qualifying gift. A minimum $100 donation is required to activate your priority points.
- 1 Point - Marching Band Donation
One point is awarded for every $100 to the Michigan Marching Band.
- 1 Point - Historical University Donation
One point is awarded for every $1,000 in historical giving to the University of Michigan.
- 1 Point - Ticket Loyalty
One point is awarded for each year of consecutive season ticket purchase in every season-ticketed sport since 1992.
- 5 Points - U-M Degree
Five points are awarded for one or more U-M degrees, with a maximum of five points per person and a maximum of ten points per Victors Club account.
- 10 Points - U-M Letterwinner
Ten points are awarded to a Victors Club member who earned a varsity letter at the U-M.
Annual Priority Point Recalculation
Priority points will be calculated based on donations received by January 31, 2012. Your points will be used to allocate away-game and post-season tickets, as well as invitations for special events.
