• Today's game marked the 331st consecutive crowd of 100,000-plus in attendance at Michigan Stadium (111,240).
• The Wolverines improved to 2-0 to begin the season. Today's victory marked Michigan's first home win against a ranked team since defeating No. 11 USC, 27-24, in 2024.
• Michigan earned its first win in three meetings with Oklahoma (1-2 all-time). Oklahoma won the previous two meetings (1976 Orange Bowl, 2025).
• Bryce Underwood recorded his second rushing touchdown of the season to put Michigan on the board in the first quarter. Underwood's 38-yard run was a career long, surpassing his 33-yard rush against Texas in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl (Dec. 31, 2025).
• Underwood led the team in rushing with 18 carries for 87 yards.
• Jordan Marshall scored the Wolverines' game-winning touchdown with 7:53 remaining in the game. The one-yard run was Marshall's first touchdown of the season.
• Savion Hiter totaled 47 yards of offense, highlighted by a 19-yard reception for a first down.
• Oklahoma was limited to 115 yards of total offense in the first half, with no red-zone attempts and no points. It marked the first time OU was held scoreless in the first half since its 23-6 loss to Texas last season (Oct. 11, 2025).
• The U-M defense limited Oklahoma to 3-of-13 on third down, including 1-of-5 in the first half.
• John Henry Daley recorded his first sack as a Wolverine on Oklahoma's opening possession. Daley finished with 3.0 TFLs, just shy of his single-game career high of 3.5 at Utah.
• Michigan's first defensive turnover of the season came courtesy of a fumble forced by Chris Bracy and recovered by linebacker Troy Bowles. It marked Bracy's first forced turnover as a Wolverine after he forced two fumbles at Memphis last season. It was the first fumble recovery of Bowles' career.
• U-M forced another turnover in the fourth quarter on Jyaire Hill's third career interception and Michigan's first interception of the season. Hill returned the pick 23 yards into OU territory, setting up the Wolverines' eventual game-winning touchdown.
• Nate Marshall ended the game with his first career solo sack. He also set a career high with 1.5 TFLs and matched his career high with two total tackles.
• Trey Butkowski connected on his first field goal as a Wolverine, a 40-yard conversion.
• Cam Brown punted seven times for 296 yards and pinned the Sooners at their one-yard line twice.
• Linebacker Nathaniel Staehling, who previously started at North Dakota State, earned his first start as a Wolverine.
• U-M tight end Eli Owens made his first collegiate start.
