Wolverines to Play Four Fall Games, Opening in Traverse City vs. MSU

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan baseball team and head coach Tracy Smith announced Tuesday (Sept. 15) the program's 2026 fall baseball schedule. The four-game slate will feature three games at the Wilpon Complex, home of Ray Fisher Stadium, and one in Traverse City.
Michigan will open against Michigan State at Turtle Creek Stadium in Traverse City on Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. Turtle Creek Stadium is the home of the Traverse City Pit Spitters, a collegiate summer ball team. Tickets can be purchased on the Pit Spitters website.
The Wolverines will then host three games at Ray Fisher Stadium, taking on Eastern Michigan on Oct. 10 at noon, Ohio University on Oct. 11 at 1 p.m., and Western Michigan on Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. All three games at Ray Fisher Stadium are free admission.
The fall schedule provides U-M baseball fans with their first opportunity to see the 2027 Wolverine lineup, featuring 28 returning players -- including Rawlings Gold Glove winner Brayden Jefferis and 2025 Freshman All-American Tate Carey. Team 161 also welcomes a crop of newcomers with 11 freshmen and five transfers.

• Saturday, Oct. 10 -- vs. Eastern Michigan, Noon

• Friday, Oct. 16 -- vs. Western Michigan, 5 p.m.
